Commercial photography
Clean, modern brand photography for Canberra businesses. Your people, your process, your environment — captured with purpose and delivered ready for web, marketing, and internal comms.

Two Core Offerings
People at Work
Environmental portraits of your team in their actual working context. Executives at their desks, tradespeople on-site, professionals in consultation. More considered than a headshot, less staged than a lifestyle shoot.
Processes & Places
The environments, tools, and craft that make your business what it is. Workshops, offices, kitchens, studios, showrooms — captured so they read as authentic and considered.
How a Commercial Shoot Works
THE BRIEF
Send me an outline of what you're trying to achieve — new website imagery, a brand refresh, a marketing campaign. I'll come back with questions, thoughts on approach, and initial pricing.
THE PLAN
We agree on shot list, location, style direction, and timing. For larger shoots this includes a call-sheet, wardrobe/prop notes, and any coordination with your team, agency, or designer.
THE SHOOT
Half-day, full-day, or multi-day shoots depending on scope. I bring lighting, backgrounds where needed, and enough time to do the work properly. Most shoots are on your site or on location; studio work is available when that suits.
DELIVERY
Fully edited images delivered within 7-10 business days via a private online gallery. Web-optimised and print-ready versions, licensed for the use we've agreed. Rush turnaround available when deadlines are tight.
Common Questions
How much does a commercial shoot cost?
Commercial photography is quoted per project because scope varies enormously. A half-day environmental portrait session runs differently to a multi-day brand campaign. Half-day rates start at $1,500 and full-day rates at $2,800, both including editing and delivery. Send me a brief and I'll come back with a specific quote within 24 hours.
Are you a corporate photography agency?
No. I'm an independent commercial photographer, not an agency, which means every session is shot, edited and delivered personally by me, not handed off to a studio team or a rotating photographer roster. For businesses that want one consistent point of contact rather than working through an account manager, that's usually the whole appeal.
Do you work with agencies and designers?
Yes, and about half my commercial work comes through agency or designer relationships. I'm comfortable working within an existing creative direction, taking direction from art directors, and delivering to spec. I can also brief and produce independently if that's what the project needs.
Who owns the images and how can they be used?
You receive a licence to use the images for the purpose we've agreed — usually website, marketing, print, and internal use for your business. I retain copyright and usage rights for portfolio and self-promotion. Extended commercial licensing (stock, resale, third-party use) is quoted separately when needed.
Can you shoot at multiple locations or over multiple days?
Yes. Multi-location and multi-day shoots are common for larger commercial projects. These are quoted holistically rather than per-day so you get a clear all-in cost, and I coordinate the schedule to minimise disruption to your operations.
Do you shoot on location, or do I need to come to a studio?
On location, at your office or venue. I bring a full on-location lighting setup, so there's no need for a dedicated studio space or for your team to travel anywhere.
Do you work as a business photographer for teams, not just individuals?
Yes. Alongside individual corporate headshots and executive portraits, I photograph full teams and departments in a single session, with lighting kept consistent across the group so every image matches, whether it's two people or twenty.
