Inherited a system nobody in your team understands?
WordPress, iMIS, SharePoint work for peak bodies, professional associations and non-profits. 10+ years in the sector, certified expertise, delivered directly, no agency layer, no handoffs.

What i Do
Four service lines, all built on over 10 years in the association and non-profit sector.

iMIS
CiP-certified iMIS consulting for associations and non-profits. Implementation, upgrades, integration, and ongoing support. Also work across TopClass LMS and OpenWater.

WordPress
WordPress design, development, and support built to last. Reliable sites for associations, professional bodies, and non-profits that need their web presence to just work.

SharePoint
SharePoint consulting and intranet builds for associations and non-profits. Practical, well-structured solutions that help teams work better online.

Associations & Peak Bodies
Sector-specific expertise across membership platforms, digital operations, and web infrastructure. Ten+ years working exclusively with associations and peak bodies.
How i work
Four principles that shape every engagement.
Direct Delivery
No agency layer, no handoffs, no project manager between you and the person doing the work. You brief me. I deliver. If something needs changing, we sort it in one conversation.
Sector Experience
Twenty years working with associations, peak bodies, and non-profits means I understand your operating context — the governance, the member expectations, the annual conference cycle. You don't have to explain your world before we can work on it.
Transparent pricing
Every engagement is quoted upfront with a clear scope. Time-and-materials for smaller work, fixed-price for defined projects. No hourly billing surprises, no scope creep charged as extras.
Long-term Partnership
Most of my consulting clients have been with me for years. Not because they're locked in — because the work keeps making sense to continue. I build relationships, not one-off transactions.

Common Questions
What kinds of associations do you work with?
Professional bodies, peak bodies, learned societies, and non-profits across a range of sectors. Most engagements are with organisations that have staff of 5-50, an active member base, and a mix of ongoing operations plus periodic peak events (conferences, elections, campaigns).
What size projects do you take on?
Anything from a two-week iMIS support engagement to a six-month website rebuild. I work with a specific number of clients at a time to keep quality high, so booking is usually a few weeks out. Very large projects (12+ month builds with multiple teams) are usually a poor fit — that's agency territory.
How do you price your work?
Two models depending on the engagement. Defined projects (a website build, an iMIS implementation, a SharePoint intranet) are fixed-price with a clear scope. Ongoing support and smaller consulting work is time-and-materials at a standard hourly rate. No hourly billing surprises, everything quoted upfront.
Do you build custom code or use existing platforms?
I build on established platforms — WordPress, iMIS, TopClass, OpenWater, SharePoint — because they're what associations already run. I don't build custom code you'll need to maintain forever. My job is to make the platforms you already use work better, not add new dependencies.
Can you take on ongoing support after go-live?
Yes, and most of my consulting clients continue on retainer or ad-hoc support after their initial project. Websites, iMIS instances, and intranets all need periodic attention. Ongoing relationships mean I know your setup and can respond quickly.
What's your typical response time?
Within a business day for enquiries, faster for existing clients. I don't offer 24/7 support — I'm one person, not a helpdesk. What I offer instead is that the person responding is always me, and I know your context without needing to be re-briefed.
